LUCY COPLEY, 70, of Wayne, W.Va. passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, at Wayne Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born August 15, 1955, in Hurley, Va., a daughter of the late Everett and Bertha Layne Justice.  Her husband, Paul Copley Jr., also preceded her in death along with five siblings, Opal Adkins, Ruby Endicott, Rosie Taylor, Amos Justice, and Boyd Justice.

She leaves behind two daughters, Linda Copley and her husband Marvin Collins of Lavalette, W.Va., and Lucy (Jeff) Talbert of Wayne; six grandchildren, Rebecca Talbert, Elizabeth Talbert, Rachel Talbert, Matt Talbert, all of Wayne, Chase Adkins of Lavalette, and Audrey Adkins of Huntington; and one great granddaughter, Nyla Kirkendoll.

Also surviving is one brother, Junior (Diane) Justice of Prichard, W.Va., and a host of nieces, nephews, and family too numerous to mention.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Marie Ann Maxey and all of her Wayne Nursing family for their love and friendship.
