MARY E. WARD, 76, of Huntington, W.Va., formerly of Wayne, W.Va., was carried away by angels to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.  She was born October 24, 1940 at Wayne, a daughter of the late Homer and Mary Ward.  Her brother Clifford Ward also preceded her in death along with two sisters, Betty Terry and Josephine Ward.

She is survived by her sister and caretaker, Juanita (Billy) Wellman of Huntington; one brother Homer (Evelyn) Ward of Wayne; and nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Williamson officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.  Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral on Friday.
