MICHAEL DOUGLAS GODBY, JR., 42, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017.  He was born August 4, 1974 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Michael Douglas Godby, Sr. and Barbara Napier Godby.  Also preceding him in death are his paternal grandparents Dallas and Mable Godby and maternal grandparents Edgar and Effie Napier.  He leaves behind his uncle Chester (Sally) Napier of Wayne; and cousins, friends, and family too numerous to mention.

Private graveside services were held at the Napier Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
