Obituary

NANCY A. QUEEN HUMBLE ATCHISON, 75, of Urbana, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Mercy McAuley Center, Urbana.  She was born June 23, 1942 In Kiahsville, West Virginia the daughter of the late Albert Belcher and Artie Caroline (Craft) Queen. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Miriam Burchett and Armilda Church, and one brother, Doliver Queen.  Nancy worked as a switchboard operator and in the collection department for Mercy Health Care and a member of Church of Christ in Christian Union, Urbana. Nancy enjoyed going to church, camping in their motor home. She liked gardening and taking care of her flowers and angels. Most of all she loved being a grandma and it was the next best thing to God. As our heart aches for the physical loss of her, we find solace knowing that she in now with God and at peace, and for that, we are grateful. Nancy is survived by her husband, Harry W. Atchison; her children, Greg (Karen) Humble of Harrison, Ohio, Kevin (Patty)Humble of Grove City, Ohio, Carolyn (Eddie) McGranahan of Urbana, Sharon (Donald) Russell of Terre Haute, Ohio, Linda Stewart of Urbana and Vicki (Jack) Goings of Sidney, Ohio; 7 grandchildren, Nick Neitz of Parrish, FL, Megan & Ryan Humble of Harrison, Kristi & Paige Humble of Grove City and Cody & Brandi McGranahan of Urbana; 1 great granddaughter, Lacie; three brothers, King (Tina) Queen, Abbie Queen and Wiley (Barb) Queen; as well as several nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10-1 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017 in the Urbana Church of Christ in Christian Union; where funeral service to celebrate Nancy's life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors, Rev. Mike Grable, Rev. David VanHoose and Rev. Carl Ogden. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Community Memorial Gardens, by Pastor Tom Amlin, with the funeral procession leaving Johnson Tiller Funeral Home at noon.   Memorial contributions may be made to Church of Christ in Christian Union, 1121 N.
