NANCY ELLEN SMITH, 68 of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 1, 2019. She was born June 21, 1951 in Huntington W.Va., a daughter of the late Raymond and Joyce Ward.  Her son-in-law Douglas Turley also preceded her in death along with one nephew Kiel Blake. Nancy was retired from Owens Illinois Glass and a member of New Vision United Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband James Smith; three children Bart (Emily) Kirk of Lavalette, W.Va., Jason (Kathy) Smith of Huntington, W.Va. and Michelle Turley (Jim) Dorton; six grand children Jordyn (Caleb) Hurt, Kendal Turley, Shelby Willis, Sydney Kirk, Levi Turley and Jamison Smith; sisters Laura (Tom) Blake, Beth (Danny) Carson and Emily (Mike) Stacy all of Huntington; nieces and nephews Sarah (Matt) Thomas, Melissa (Jeff) Hunt, Andrew Stacy and Taylor Stacy; and many great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2019 at New Vision Baptist Church with Pastor Garrett Hale and Assistant Pastors Danny Damron and Jeremy Eastwood officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Donations are suggested to New Vision Baptist Church.
