NOLA JANET ADKINS, 79, of Wayne, W.Va. went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2020.  She was born October 16, 1940 at Stiltner, W.Va. a daughter of the late Henry and Ruby Davis Spence.  Her husband Glen Roy Adkins also preceded her in death.  Nola was a retired custodian with Wayne High School with 27 years of service, as well as a founding member of Laurel Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Elaine (Richard) Robertson of Genoa, W.Va., Mark (Carmen) Adkins of Hebron, Ky., James (Patricia) Adkins of Lavalette, W.Va., and William (MaryAnn) Adkins of Clarksburg, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren, Phillip Stephens, Aaron Stephens, Josh Adkins, Christopher Adkins, Kristina Adkins, Patrick (Amanda) Adkins, Adam (Stephany) Adkins, Kristin Dunfee, Roger (Brittany) Adkins, and Elizabeth Adkins; and 11 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers, Bill (Judy) Spence of Hurricane, W.Va., and James (Norma) Spence of Kenova, W.Va.; and a host of extended family and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Casteel officiating.  Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
