OLINE PERDUE ADKINS of Wayne, W.Va., fell asleep to wake with Jesus on Saturday, April 1, 2017.  She was born June 25, 1925 to the late Zeri and Blanche Wellman Perdue.  Her husband, Harold R. Adkins, also preceded her in death along with her brothers, Oddra, Novice, Muss, and Calvin Perdue, and her sisters Arbutus Hutchinson, Hope Cade, Jewell Hazelett, Velva Rice, and Clysta Perdue.

She is survived by her nieces whom she cared for as daughters, Teonia Ramey and Andrea (Kent) Savage; their children Andy (Christie) Ramey, Chanda Ramey, and Natasha Rayfield; her grandbabies Shawn, Brookie, Lakara and Seth Ramey, and Zackary Rayfield; and many nieces and nephews.

Oline enjoyed working at Houdaille until their shut down, but most of all she loved Big Creek Baptist Church of which she was a lifelong member.  She would want to send special thanks to Sandy Bellomy, Tim Ramey, Bill Morrison, and the Stepp family.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Mt. Vernon Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Stepp officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Memorial donations may be made to Mt.
