ORA MADELENE SMITH, 77, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 3, 2016.  She was born February 2, 1939 at Dunlow, W.Va., a daughter of the late George and Lou Jervis.  Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Ray Jervis and Jay Jervis, and one nephew, Randy Jervis.

She leaves behind one daughter, Cleo Barnes of Birmingham, Ala.; three sons, William Smith, Tommy Smith of Wayne, Donald Smith, also of Wayne; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.  Also surviving is one sister, Lenora Maynard of Jackson, Oh.; three brothers, Jack (Edith) Jervis of Lavalette, W.Va., William Jervis of Dunlow, and Bobby (Seay) Jervis of Wayne; one sister-in-law, Mary Catherine Jervis of Wayne; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Robinson Cemetery.  Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
