PAUL DAVID SMITH, SR., 58, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife who had gone before him on Thursday, July 17, 2025.  He was born October 21, 1966, in Huntington, a son of the late Juanita and Bobby Smith.  Also preceding him in death was his wife, Tina Bell Smith; one sister, Roberta Bryan; two brothers, Wetzel Ray Smith and Bobby Smith, Jr.; his father-in-law Bennie Drenner; and a brother-in-law, Bennie Drenner, Jr.   Paul was a member of Community Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Proctorville, Ohio.

Survivors include one daughter, Maelynn (Chris) Poston of Huntington; two sons, Paul Smith, Jr., of Huntington and Skyler (Marti) Smith of South Pont, Oh.; and three grandchildren, Kyleah, Carson, and Wyatt Poston.

Also surviving are two sisters, Katherine (Jeff) Nance of Proctorville, and Debbie (Delbert) Maynard of Huntington; two brothers, Rick Smith of Kenova, W.Va., and Kevin (Tracy) Smith of West Hamlin, W.Va.; three special nieces, Dona (Mikey) Frye, Juanita (Mike) Adkins, and Savanah (Matt) O'Brien; his mother-in-law Judy Drenner of Huntington; his brother-in-law James Drenner, also of Huntington; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastors Carl Black and Jason Adams officiating.  Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery Annex.  Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
