RALPH "Butch" FRALEY, 86, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away Wednesday evening, February 8, 2017 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born January 17, 1931 at Stiltner, West Virginia, a son of the late Homer and Flora Ramey Fraley. He was also preceded in death by his wife Fannie Magdalene Fraley; brother Homer Fraley Jr.; and his first wife and mother of his children, Maxine Frasher Riddle. Butch was a member of Wolf Pen Church of Christ.
Survivors include three children, Monna "Mona" (Gerald) Kay of Harbour Beach, Mich., and Laveta (Donald) Gardner of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Ralph Fraley, Jr. of New Tazewell, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Donnie Gardner, who had made five generations at his birth, Steven (Tracy) Gardner, Angela Gardner, James Gardner, Bryan (Carrie) Kay, Lisa Kopec, Sharon (Daniel) Herrell, Catherine Fraley, Eric (Scarlett) Fraley, Deidre Fraley and her fiancé Jason Pabon; and 15 great grandchildren.
Also surviving is one sister, Lucille Windle of Carlton, Mich., sister-in-law, Charlotte Fraley and her children, Gerry (Barb) Fraley, Debbie (Tim) and Anita Fraley; step-daughter Carrol "Sue" Algeri and her husband and family of Florida; and special friends George (Carol) Nelson.
Funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with his dear friend Pastor Emual Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 -9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
