RAYMOND STEPHENS, 77, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 25, 2020.  He was born March 11, 1943 in Wayne, W.Va., a son of the late Menis and Violet Stephens.  Also preceding him in death were ten brothers and sisters, Glenna Williams, Charley Stephens, Delores Parsley, Argean Stephens, Donald Stephens, Ricky Stephens, Michael Stephens, Beverly Watts, Dianna Stephens Lambert, and Adolphis Stephens.

Raymond retired from Owens Illinois Glass Company and was a member of the Apostolic Church of God.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara Ann Stephens; two children, Tracy Stephens of Wayne, and JoAnna Leigh (Greg) Hall of Lavalette, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Gregory Ryan Hall, Tristan Scott Stephens, Jace Tanner Stephens, Colten Blake Hall, and Sierra Brooke Hall.  Also surviving are three brothers, Paul (Edith) Stephens, Silas (Dorothy) Stephens, and Dallas (Connie) Stephens, all of Wayne; two sisters, Helen (Paul) Weber of Columbus, Oh., and Joyce (Kenneth) Jones of Huntington; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Dallas Stephens and Brother Glen Jenkins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
