ROY M. THOMPSON, 76, OF Dunlow, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 22, 2018.  He was born on March 5, 1941 at Wayne, W.Va., a son of the late John and Delcie Jackson Thompson.  Also preceding him in death were all of his brothers and sisters, Gladys Holt, Anna Mae Porter, Marie Parsons, Magdalene Rowe, Audra Magner, John Bill Thompson, and Rudolph Thompson.

He leaves behind one daughter, Lois Thompson; four sons, Randall Thompson, Billy Thompson, Robert Thompson, and Michael (Tammy) Thompson all of Dunlow; 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild; ex-wife Sally Thompson of Dunlow; special niece Kitty Napier of Genoa, W.Va.; and a host of friends and family too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Ray Messer Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at the Thompson Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
