ROYCE DAMRON, 90, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Wayne Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  He was born July 19, 1932, in Radnor, W.Va., a son of the late Nathan and Addie Damron.  His wife Betty Damron also preceded her in death along with four brother and one sister.  Royce was retired from Ford Motor Company with 30 years of service, a member of Vinson Lodge #66 AF&AM at Ft. Gay, as well as a member of the Rush Branch Church, Genoa, W.Va.  He was well known for his talents as a leather craftsman and his items are still being used and worn by many in Wayne County.

He was a father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, and special uncle.  He was survived by many friends and family member too numerous to mention.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Medical Center and Wayne Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for their care and support during his illness.

Private graveside services were held Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery, with Pastor Travis Perry officiating, and Masonic rites performed.  Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Damron family.
