SARAH F. McCOY BARRETT, 90, of Chesapeake, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington W.Va. She was a retired realtor, and a grandma with the Foster Grandparent program in Lawrence County Ohio. As a life-long Democrat, she enjoyed working for the Office of Lawrence County Board of Elections. Sarah was also a former council person with the Chesapeake Village Council. As a daughter of the late Thomas and Florida McCoy, she was also preceded in death by two sisters Estel Suiter and Phyllis Keeney, and three brothers James "Jim", Julian "Doodle", and Junior McCoy.

She is survived by her son W. Allen Barrett of Chesapeake, Oh.; daughter DiAnn (Carter Dale) Henson of Chesapeake; granddaughters Amy (Matthew) Wilson of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and Melissa (Gary) Selby of Grayson, Ky.; three great-grandsons George Wilson, and Gavin and Sawyer Selby; a sister Mae (Jack) Davis; a brother Edward "Eddie" McCoy; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank their friends Osa and Dr. Z for their support. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Highland Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carter Dale Henson officiating. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Barrett family.
