STANLEY JONES, 79, of Lavalette, W.Va., passed from here to a better home on Wednesday, March 16, 2016.  He was born September 30, 1936 at East Lynn, W.Va. a son of the late Willie and Mary Stanley Jones.  Also preceding him in death were four brothers, Gayle Jones, Billy Jones, Sheldon Jones, and Lucian Jones; five sisters, Ruth Pearlman, Eunice Kirwin, Ruby Tygrett, Margie Goldwater, and Mattie Nolan; and one infant child.  Stanley served in the U.S. Army and was a retired insurance investigator.

He leaves behind his sweetheart of 4 years and loving wife of 56 years, Lizzie Napier Jones; and a host of nephews, nieces, and loved ones.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Johnson-Tiller Funeral Home with Pastors Kenneth Nolan and Tommy Nolan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
