TENNIE GINETTA (CARROLL) MILLS, 54, of East Lynn, W.Va., arrived safely in the arms of the Lord, on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Born April 8, 1962, a daughter of the late William "Bill" Wesley and Inez Wilson Carroll, Ginetta was an experienced homemaker, a loving mother, a beautiful wife, an adored grandmother, special sister, and humorous aunt to her family. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Rosetta Carroll and Patricia Lynn Barbe; one brother, Wesley Lee Carroll; two nieces Jennifer Gene Adkins and Elisha Renee Wilson; and her parents-in-law, Clarence and Nella Fae Mills.
Ginetta is survived her husband of 36 years, Clarence Douglas Mills; one daughter, Stephanie Dawn (Michael) Acord of Prichard, W.Va.; one son, Aaron Douglas (Teresa) Mills of East Lynn; two grandchildren, Hannah Fae Elizabeth Thompson and Timothy James "TJ" Thompson both of Prichard; two sisters, Loretta Carroll (Bo Collins) of Gallipolis, Oh. and Starlena (Paul) Rigsby of Catlettsburg, Ky.; three brothers, Thomas Phillip Carroll of Genoa, W.Va., Dale Gene Carroll of Wayne, W.Va., and Birdie Andrew Carroll also of Genoa; and several in-laws, Jerry Allen Mills of East Lynn, Dora Darlene (Billy) Wilson of Genoa, and Deborah Carroll of Kenova, W.Va.
Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Amber Renee Rigsby, Alissa Nicole Rigsby both of Catlettsburg, Terasa Ann Hemphill of Kaukauna, Wisc., Sarah Susan Mills of East Lynn, Wesley Jacob Carroll of Kenova, Joseph Allen Collins of Gallipolis, Oh., Billy Jo (Krystal) Hemphill of Wayne, Jerry Matthew Mills of East Lynn, Billy L. Wilson II of Genoa, and William Carroll of Chicago, Ill.; one aunt, Irene Robertson of Ft. Gay, W.Va.; one great-aunt, Clara Lucille Wilson of Wayne; four great-nephews, Billy, Elijah, Atreyeu, and Fabian.; two great-nieces, Jaden and Kyersten; and friends and loved ones too numerous to count.
The Mills Family would like to thank Terry and Joyce Sanders and Teresa Y. Grigsby just for being there with us, along with the staff of Cabell Huntington Hospital for the care and devotion given to Ginetta when she was sick.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Billy L. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Sanders Cemetery, Nestlow. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
