TRAVIS DINGESS, 82, of Ft. Gay, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 27, 2016.  He was born May 2, 1934 at Wayne, West Virginia a son of the late John and Genevieve Dalton Dingess.  Also preceding him in death were eight brothers, Orville, Glen, Leon, Enslow, Jake, John, Dale, and Raymond; one sister, Lucinda Frye; and two sons, Eugene Dingess and Johnny Dingess.

Travis was a former truck driver with Blacktop Industries and attended Dunlow Freewill Baptist Church.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Georgia Ann Maynard Dingess; four sons, Delmas (Karen) Shadd of Ashtabula, Oh., Travis H. (Brenda) Dingess of Piketon, Oh., Christion (Shawna) Dingess of Piketon, Oh., and Steven Dingess of Ft. Gay; seven grandchildren, Eric, Cassandra, Michael, Christal, Brian, Samantha, Steven Nate; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Dunlow Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Watts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery.  Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the church.  Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dingess family.
