VALERIA CAROL COLLIER, 54 of Lavalette, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023.  Born March 5, 1969 in Huntington, W.Va., she was a member of the United Baptist Church and worked for the Wayne County Board of Education.  Her father, Joney Dale Watts preceded her in death.

She leaves behind her mother, Mary Sue Nelson Watts of Lavalette; one daughter, Mindy Collier (Colton Farley); two sisters, Becky Watts of Wayne, W.Va., and her children Levi Jack, Olivia Jack, and Kynlee Jack; Joni (Mike) Rowe, also of Lavalette and their children Garrett (Hannah) Rowe, Jessie (Quentin) Mills; great nephew Jase Mills; special friends Laura Fletcher and Mary Thomas; her beloved dog Darcy Ann; as well as family and friends too numerous to mention.

A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greasy Ridge Cemetery.
