VIOLA CYRUS , 87, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.  She was born March 26, 1933, a daughter of the late Troy and Marie Runyon; her husband Basil M. Cyrus also preceded her in death. Along with one son, Basil F. Cyrus; one sister, Juanita; and two brothers, Richard and Sherman. Viola was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Travis) Blankenship of Wayne; four grandchildren, Stacy (Chris) Bowens of Lavalette, W.Va., Steven (Rebecca) Cyrus of Scott Depot, W.Va., Shandra Blankenship of Wayne, and Andrea Blankenship (Jerry Likens) also of Wayne; and 10 great grandchildren, Ethan, Reese, Hayden, Mason, Fallon, Nevaeh, Liam, Willow, Khloe, and Lexi.

Also surviving are two sisters, ReBecca and Tenny, both of Clearwater, Fl., and friends and family too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Cyrus Cemetery.
