WALTER RAYMOND "WALDO" MITCHELL, 39, of Genoa, W.Va., passed away in a fatal car accident along with his best friend, Steven Lee "Kemo" Ferguson on Saturday, April 18, 2020.  Walter was born February 19, 1981 in Huntingdon, Penn., a son of the late Paul James and Mary Etta Mitchell.  Also preceding him in death was special friend Michael Accord, who was like family to him.

Survivors include two sons, Walter Raymond "J" Mitchell Jr. and Tracy Dale Mitchell; one daughter Delinda Marie Mitchell, all of Prichard, W.Va.; his girlfriend Crissy Garrison of Wayne; sisters, Paula Smith of Traveler's Rest, S.C., and Marietta Brooks of East Lynn, W.Va.; along with many friends that he considered closer than kin including Jimmy and Mandy Whitt, Randy and Alice Messer, and Clarence and Tammy Christian.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday April 22, 2020 at the Jones Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
