WETZEL LEE BELLOMY, 56, of Midkiff, W.Va., passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center.  He was born May 5, 1960 at West Hamlin, W.Va., a son of the late Edgar and Elizabeth Bellomy.  His brothers, Edgar Ray Bellomy, Jr. and Willard Bellomy also preceded him in death, along with one sister, Janet Lou Bellomy.  Wetzel was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran and attended Hamilton Creek Baptist Church.

He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Kathy Spence Bellomy; one son, Joseph Ryan Bellomy of New Orleans, La.; one sister, Alice Faye Wiley of Barboursville, W.Va.; and a host of dear nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Rev. Farm Nelson Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at the Watson Cemetery.  Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
