WILLIAM RICHARD "Rick" TOMBLIN, 56, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at King's Daughters Medical Center following a short illness.  He was born August 28, 1960 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Dewey Tomblin and Goldie Mae Rice.  His grandmother, Alma Wallace also preceded him death.

He is survived by two sons, William Richard Tomblin Jr. and his wife Tiffany of Winder, Ga., and Terry Michael Tomblin and his wife Amber of Wayne, W.Va.; and five grandchildren, Rayshaun, Justin, Faith, Bentley, and Shelby.

Also surviving is his step-father who raised him, Dewey (Alice) Rice of East Lynn; four brothers, Dewey Keith (Bonnie) Tomblin of Milton, W.Va., Terry Lee (Mary) Tomblin of Commerce, Ga., Dana Rice of Winder, Ga., and John Allen (Debbie) Rice of Wayne; four sisters, Lisa Rector of Huntington, Debbie (Eddie) Aliff, Angel (Cletis) Neace, all of East Lynn, Annie (Timmy) Porter of Wayne; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends too numerous to mention.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Vaughn-Mills Cemetery, with Brother Gary Queen, Sr. officiating.  Friends may call after 12 noon at the cemetery. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Tomblin family.
