Alan Lance McCoy

ALAN LANCE McCOY, 48, of Wayne, W.Va. passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021.  He was born April 21, 1972 in Chicago, Ill., and was a contractor in the construction field where he had talents in many trades.  His mother, Jeanine Detterbeck preceded him in death. 

            He is survived by his father, Warren McCoy of Rush, Ky.; one sister, Chawntel McCoy; one daughter, Halley McCoy (Tyler Johnson); one granddaughter, Ava Johnson; special friend Ronnie (Shelby) Staley; the love of his life, Jacqueline McCoy, all of Wayne; Ashley Nicely of Prichard, W.Va., whom he thought of as a daughter; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

            Visitation will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Donations to assist with final expenses can be made by selecting the "Donations" tab above.
