Alberta "Lynn" O'Brien

ALBERTA “LYNN” O’BRIEN, 54, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 20, 2024.  She was born May 12, 1970, at Dunlow, W.Va., a daughter of the late Carlos and Shirley Stumbo Ferguson.  Also preceding her in death are paternal grandparents Charles and Polly Ferguson; maternal grandparents, Jessie and Flora Mills Stumbo; and her loving husband Hugh O’Brien.

                Survivors include her two sons, Ryan (Opal) Stumbo of Dunlow, and Allen (Amber) Stumbo of Huntington, W.Va.; one granddaughter, Adrian Gracie Stumbo; one brother, Larry (Brenda) Ferguson of Genoa, W.Va.; very special sisters-in-law, Marty, Sandy, and Kitty; two brothers-in-law; Jay and Bobby; her adopted daughter, Kaley Belg of Dayton, Oh.; her companion of several years, Darren Thompson; very special friend Timberly Maynard Sowers of Columbus, Oh.; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to mention.

                Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2024, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Stroud officiating.  Burial will follow in Ferguson Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 am at the funeral home.
