Becky "Corma Jane" Merritt

BECKY “CORMA JANE” MERRITT, 74, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at River Run Healthcare, Coal Grove, Ohio.  She was born April 4, 1950, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Naman Pyles and Marie Stephens Hatten.  Her daughter Tina Adkins also preceded her in death, along with two sisters, Kathy Ramey and Bonnie Belcher.

Survivors include one son, Alfred “Curtis” Moore of Lavalette, W.Va.; two daughters, Priscilla Merritt of Huntington, and Patricia Shadd of Genoa, W.Va.; four grandchildren Trista (Justin) Jarrell, and Sarah Shadd of Dunlow, W.Va., J.T. McCoy and Isabella Ferguson; and two great grandchildren Alivia Jarrell, and Caleb Jarrell

Also surviving is one brother Doug (Diane) Pyles of Florida; and two sisters, Annalee (Jack) Belcher of Ohio, Debbie Harolyn of Ohio; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2025, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Brett Shadd officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m.
