BILLIE CAROL LANSING, 78, of Fort Gay, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024. She was born February 25, 1946, in Louisa, Ky., and retired from General Motors. She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura and William Brooks Perry Sr.; her husband, Wade Lansing; sisters, Letha Chaffin, Ruby Dowling, Geneva McGraw, Helen Blevins, and Phyllis Vernatter; and a brother William Brooks Perry, Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Shilling of Ft. Gay; one son, Roger Dale Shilling of Starkville, MS; and six grandchildren, Steven Albrecht, Devon Albrecht, Roger J. Shilling, Kerri Courtney, Jo’e Courtney, and Kimberly Courtney.
Also surviving are two sisters, Ledonna "Tina" (Bill) Stasik, of Cairo, Mich., and Yvonne (Dean) Courtney, of Catlettsburg, Ky.; seven brothers, Wetzel (Lou) Perry, of Dunlow, W.Va., Leroy (Karen) Perry, of Dunlow, Verlin Perry, of Louisville, Ky., Sam (Ann) Perry, of Clarksburg, W.Va., Charles (Sheila) Perry, of Chesapeake, Oh., Ralph (Dreama) Perry, of Crum, W.Va., Greg (Florence) Perry, of Prichard, W.Va., and Robert (Donna) Moore, of Ft. Gay; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to mention.
Private services will be held for the family. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
