BOBBI LYNN FRYE, 53, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at her home. Born October 5, 1970, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Otis and Helen Davis, and Rev. Earl and Frances Burgess; uncle Roger Ross; and her stepfather John Ross.
Survivors include her mother Linda Ross of Kiahsville, W.Va.; two brothers, Cole Forest Ross of Texas and Michael Forrest (Rachel Lambert) of Wayne; two sisters, Tammy Ross of Texas, and Martha Jean Ross of Ohio; nieces and nephews, Amanda Nicole Forrest, Harley Short (Gracie Graham), Waylen Forrest, Tyler Forrest, Skylar Forrest and two great nephews, Austin Forrest and baby Langston Short on the way; aunts Nella (Bernard) Toppings, Jackie Wilson, Linda Burgess, and Brenda (John) Perry and their families; uncle Allan Wilson; great aunts Ernie Sova Crossland, Margaret Ross, and Jackie Burgess; special cousins Justin Ransbottom, Christie Queen, Tiffany (Justin) Perry, and Wanda (Ken) Ross; special friends Jamie Vaughn, Fred Bartram and Poncho Adkins; and a host of family and friends.
Bobbi was a kind and giving soul. She was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, and she loved her fur-babies, her beloved dogs, Misty, Max, Chunky, Chaseie, Baby Turtles, and her two cats Holiday and Emmy. She will be tremendously missed.
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elder Tim Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross-Wiley Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday.
