BONNIE SUE STILTNER, 76, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 16, 1949, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Clarence Homer Pierce and Laura Belle Gibson Pierce. Also preceding her in death was the father of her children, Albert Lee Stiltner; two daughters, Alberta Sue “Byrd” Lewis, and Samantha “Sam” Fields; four sisters, Louise Barker, Betty Pelfrey, Pauline Ross, and Brenda Ross; and two brothers, Donald Ray Pierce and Herman Eugene Pierce.
She is survived by two daughters, Melissa “Charlie” (Rick) Stapleton, and Laura “Turtle” Stiltner; seven grandchildren, Chasiti (Dustin) Erwin, Cala (Tony) Clay, Susan (Chris) Trautwein, Abbie Fields (Wayne Kilpatrick), Johnathon Mills, Zachary Fields, and Jacob Mills; and 10 great grandchildren, Bennett, Gavin, Grady, Cailyx, Dexter, Arlo, Penelope, Karter, Kierra, and Macie, all of whom she loved dearly. Bonnie lived life to the fullest and was loved far more than she knew.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Clay officiating. Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at noon on Friday. Donations to assist the family are appreciated and can be made by selecting the "Donations" tab above.
