BRIAN KEITH TAYLOR, 57, of East Lynn, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 following a long battle with cancer. He was born July 18, 1963 in Hamlin, W.Va., and was an auto body mechanic. He was preceded in death by one precious son, Johnathon Taylor; his father Leon Taylor; and grandparents Willard and Mary Jane Francis and Garland and Lucille Taylor.
He leaves behind his wife, Marlena Faye Taylor; one son, Matthew (Kandace) Taylor of Huntington, W.Va.; four step-children, Harmony (Cory) McDonie of Ona, W.Va. Dennie Adams, Billy Adams, both of Wayne, W.Va., and Joshua Smithson of Huntington; and four perfect grandchildren, Johnathon Taylor, Charley McDonie, Jackson McDonie, and Dottie McDonie.
Also surviving is his mother, Martha Jewel Taylor of East Lynn; five sisters, Debbie (Greg) Miller of Tex., Felicia (Jeff) Hale, Mary (Mark) Ritter, all of East Lynn, Brandi Taylor of Tex., and Tonya Mills of Prichard, W.Va.; one brother Rick (Patty) Stapleton of East Lynn; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to name and who will always miss him. “We love you Brian Keith Taylor. Thank you for being the most wonderful husband, dad, and papaw we could ever ask for. We were blessed to have you.”
Private services for family and friends will be held at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest beside his son Johnathon at Community Memorial Gardens.
