BRUCE ALLEN SALMONS, 63, of Catlettsburg, Ky., formerly of Dunlow, W.Va., passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Kings Daughters Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1961, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Everett and Eva Salmons. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Charles Jervis and Jerry Salmons; special nephew Davey Tabor; and a dear friend Wayne Love. Bruce was formerly employed at Rockspring Development, East Lynn, W.Va.
Survivors include his children, Amanda Salmons of Genoa, W.Va., and Mark (Ashley) Salmons of Dunlow; and four grandchildren, Skarlette Salmons, Melody Salmons, Mark Salmons, II, and Matthew Salmons.
Also surviving are four siblings, James “Jimbo” (Donna) Jervis of Wayne, W.Va., Mary Starr of Catlettsburg, Zelma (John T.) Moore of Dunlow, and Edna (Greg) Keenan of Catlettsburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elder Tommy Damron officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Monday.
