CARL DAVID HAGER, 70, of Barboursville, W.Va., passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1952 in Logan, W.Va., a son of the late Bernie and Nora Lee Queen Hager. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Jimmy Hager and Billy Hager; and his companion Deborah Workman. Carl served in the U.S. Army and was a former coal miner.
Survivors include four children, Sabrina Hager Morrison of Huntington, W.Va., Brian Ball and Brianna Ball, both of Logan, and Shanda Blatz of Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Andrea Morrison of Huntington, Alisha Morrison of Branchland, W.Va., Lynlea Noe, Mila Farmer, both of Logan, Chelsea Chapman, Kirsten Gardner, and Rilyn Blatz, all of Tenn.; great grandchildren Kaden, Kansas, Jameson, Ethan, Cyrus, and Braxton; as well as sister-in-law and caregiver Charlotte Tucker of Proctorville, Oh.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
