CARRIE MAE WORKMAN, 81, of Dunlow, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2019. Born on April 24, 1938, the daughter of the late Hubert Alvin and Amy Bell Hundley. Her husband, Mannie Workman, also preceded her in death, along with three stepchildren, Jerry Workman, Freda Mae Dorton, and Jewell Smith; seven brothers, John Hundley, Homer (JR) Hundley, Herbert Hundley, James Hubert Hundley, Lloyd Hundley, Delbert Hundley, Oscar Ray Hundley; and two sisters Nancy Robinson and infant Pauline Hundley. Carrie Mae was a member of the Fairmount United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Orville Ray Workman and his wife, Janet Workman of Pt. Pleasant, W.Va., and Charlotte Jaques and her husband, Scott Jaques of Lexington Park, Md.; six grandchildren; Christopher Jaques, Kimberly Barnes, Pamela Dutton, Belinda Rainey, Orville Workman Jr, and Joseph Jaques; and 16 great grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her brother Hobert Hundley Sr. and her sister Arisby Sharp, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hundley Cemetery. Visitation will held from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
