Cassie Wilson

CASSIE WILSON, 99, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 31, 2023.  She was born December 18, 1923, in Genoa, W.Va., a daughter of the late William and Laura Clark.  Her husband Clifford “Jack” Wilson also preceded her in death along with nine sisters, three brothers, and one daughter, Betty Sue Wilson.  Cassie was a homemaker and attended Bible Apostolic Church in Huntington.

                She is survived by five children, Garland (Evelyn Sue) Wilson of Ocala, Fla., Janice (Jack) Cox of Genoa, W.Va., Harold (Barbara) Wilson of Louisville, Ky., Jackie (Judy) Wilson of San Antonio, Tex., and Rhonda (Mike) Smith of Huntington; 16 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and 26 great-great grandchildren.

                Also surviving is one sister, Virginia Kashner of Tennessee; special friends and neighbors Donna and Terry Berry; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

                Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 7 p.m. with Pastor Aaron Fairburn officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.
