Cecil Williamson Jr.

CECIL WILLIAMSON, JR., 72, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at his home.  He was born October 6, 1950, in South Williamson, Kentucky, a son of the late Cecil and Myrtle Chafins Williamson.  Also preceding him in death was one sister, Connie Williamson; and two brothers, Gary Williamson, and Randy Williamson.  Cecil was a US Navy Veteran and previously employed at the Wayne County Board of Education and Direct TV.

                Survivors include one son, Aaron Williamson of Kenova, W.Va.; his ex-wife Barbara Williamson of Crum, W.Va.; very special friend Jimmy Little; as well as numerous cousins and many friends.

                Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Williamson Crum Family Cemetery, Crum, W.Va., with military honors performed by The American Legion Post 93.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
