Obituary

CHARLES J. BOLT, 95, of Wayne, W.Va., died November 27, 2022, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.  He was born December 27, 1926, in Rush, Ky., a son of the late William and Ona Leibee Bolt. His wife, Norma June Bolt, also preceded him in death, along with his sisters, Ruth Bolt, Merle (Harold) Fisher, and Ethel Smith.  Charlie was a U.S. Army veteran stationed in occupied Japan following WWII.  He worked as a mechanic for Huntington Motors, then later worked for Inco Alloys until his retirement. 

                Survivors include his children, Cynthia Bolt of Wayne, and Charlie (Teresa) Bolt of Ashland, Ky; two granddaughters, Rebekkah Bolt and Emily Bolt; one great granddaughter, Julianna Rose Bolt, all of Ashland; as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. 

                Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Perry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mills Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday.
