CONNIE SUE HARMON, 77, of Lavalette, W.Va., passed away Friday, November 5, 2021. She was born September 9, 1944 In Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late Lola and Marlin Pruitt. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Peggy Jones and Brenda Hylton. Connie was a member of Mills Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, George Mitchell Harmon; three children, Sheila (Jay) Edwards of Brunswick, Ga., Tom (Christi) Harmon of Lavalette, and Tyson (Jamie) Harmon, also of Lavalette; grandchildren, Krystle (Jamie) Berry, Laney (Travis) Murphy, Tess Harmon, Gunner Harmon, Addison Harmon, Tyce Harmon, Curtis Followay, Olivia Followay, and Whitney Followay; great grandchildren, Malakai Berry, Mercy Berry, Mavyn Berry, Myra Berry, Mabel Berry, Hunter Murphy, and Taylee Murphy; as well as one brother, Jerry Pruitt of Gainesville , Fla.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Stapleton Officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmon Family Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11a.m. Thursday.
