Making some great friends in the Fire service along the way in his 36 years of service. Working many fire seasons for the WV Division of Forestry, he made several friends, some he spoke more of and treated like family: WV Forestry Workers Matt Cook, and David Turnipseed.
He worked in the coal business for many, many years, including Penn Coal and all the way back to the days of Wolf Creek Coal, just to name a few. He had a deep passion for racing, fishing, and hunting, and he loved collecting Tonka and other heavy equipment toys. Most of all he loved his family. His most favorite times were family get-togethers, especially all the jokes and pranks.
