2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” DIANNA KAY MILLS McCOMAS, 75, of Huntington, W.Va., formerly of East Lynn, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. She was born November 26, 1950, at East Lynn, a daughter of the late Ottie Severn Mills and Ruby Parsons Mills. Also preceding her in death was one brother, Willie Mills, and two sisters, Wanda Mills and Opal Marie Brown. Kay was a member of New Beginning Church in Huntington.
Survivors include her loving husband, Larry Gene McComas; two daughters, Melissa (Mitchell) Brooks of Branchland, W.Va., and Julie (Jacob) Ray of Huntington; four grandchildren, Brandi (Shannon) Sanders of Huntington, Casey (Cheynoa) Brooks, also of Huntington, Hannah (Taylor) Ball of Cannonsburg, Ky., and Hunter Ray of Huntington; and eight great grandchildren, Lacie Williamson (Garrett), Paisley Sanders, Caden Wheeler, Leah Wheeler, Tucker Brooks, Remington Brooks, Dawson Ball, and Tucker Pennington.
Also surviving are two sisters, Loretta Clark of Salt Rock, W.Va., and Patti (Jimmy Clyde) Napier of East Lynn; three brothers, Ottie Gerald Mills, Dale (Frances) Mills, and David (Jeanette) Mills, all of East Lynn; Susan Allen, whom she considered her own; her lifelong best friend Sharon West; and a host of nieces, nephew, family and friends.
The family would like to thank special caregiver Rita Porter of Wayne for her support and love.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2025, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastors Jay Ross and Jason McComas officiating. Burial will follow in the Parsons Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
