Doffice Adkins

DOFFICE ADKINS, 89, of Lavalette, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024.  He was born January 26, 1934, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Mack and Dora Adkins.  His daughter, Debbie Bryant also preceded him in death along with five siblings, Charles Adkins, Vernon Adkins, Mack Adkins, Vivian Mills and Nellie Colon.  Doffice retired from Owens Illinois Glass Manufacturing Company.

            He is survived by one daughter Sharon of Mississippi; several grandchildren; one sister, Nada Lucas of Ona, W.Va.; his nephew Mack Adkins whom he raised; as well as several additional nieces and nephews.

            Graveside services will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Green Valley Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Donations to assist the family can be made by selecting the "Donations" tab above.
