Donald Robert Talbert

DONALD ROBERT TALBERT, 87, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  He was born February 8, 1935, in Logan, W.Va. a son of the late Muriel and Arthur Talbert, Sr.  Also preceding him in death were three sisters, Stella Ratcliff, Laura Mae Stephens, Carolyn Knight; three brothers Austin Talbert, Thomas Talbert, and Arthur Talbert Jr.; as well as his companion Mikalene Smith.  Donald was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired from the construction industry. 

                Survivors include two brothers, Charles (Violet) Talbert and William (Connie) Talbert; one sister, Beulah (Doug) Chapman; stepdaughter Amy (Ronnie) Smith; grandson Timothy (Danielle) Smith, all of Wayne; as well as a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

                To honor his request, there will be no services.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
