DONNA LAVONNE PARSONS ROWE, 85, of Wayne, W.Va., formerly of Branchland, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She was born October 29, 1935, in Iowa, a daughter of the late Roy and Vera Rehm. Her husband Otho “Joe” Parsons also preceded her in death along with her second husband, Frank Rowe; daughter Linda Kay Watson; son-in-law Everett Frank Watson; grandson Alan James Parsons; and one brother, Lloyd Rehm. Donna was a member of Salt Rock Community Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include seven children, Laura Ann (Jessie) Dempsey of West Hamlin, W.Va., Jeannie Clark of Wayne, Alan Parsons of West Hamlin, Forrest (Regina) Parsons of Salt Rock, W.Va., David Ray (Ginger) Parsons of Branchland, Denise (Neil) Ellis of Salt Rock, and Russell Glen Parsons of Virginia; 12 grandchildren, Samantha Watson, John Watson, Cynthia Dempsey, Bobbie Jo Dempsey, J.J. Dempsey, Chase Thompson, Savannah Clark, Terry Parsons, Madison Parsons, Joey Parsons, David Lee Parsons, and Jacob Otho Parsons; great-grandchildren, Johnathan Robert Watson, Robert Anthony Watson, Owen Asbury, Jessica Sanchez, Emma Lou Asbury, Cheyanne Hall, Lilly Cooper, Shanna Cooper, Ashley Cooper, Lendsy Helmstetler, Jackson Parsons, Calvin Parsons, Michael Justice, Raeanna Clark, Kashton Clark, Johnathan Parsons, Bradley Joe Parsons, Isabella Parsons, Jacob Parsons, Michael Scalora, Tiberon Scalora, Christine Scalora, and Marissa Scalora; and a very special friend and daughter in her heart, Armilda “Faye” McCoy and her daughter Rebecca McCoy, whose love and care will forever be remembered.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Watson Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Sunday.
