ELIZABETH ANN SPAULDING, 83, of Genoa, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She was born August 1, 1937 in Big Creek, Ky., a daughter of the late Anthony and Virgie Johnson. Her husband, Dallas Spaulding also preceded her in death along with three sisters, Artie Jude, Dora Kelly, and Arizetta Marcum; and five brothers, James Johnson, Thurman Johnson, Elem Johnson, Ralph Johnson, and Marlett Johnson. Elizabeth was a homemaker and a member of Dunlow, Freewill Baptist Church.
She leaves behind one daughter, Augustine (Andrew) Poteete of Old Hickory, Tenn.; one son, Arnold Kirk of Genoa; three grandchildren, Robert W. (Jessica) Baulsir of Lebanon, Tenn., Jonathan D. (Shara) Baulsir of Gallatin, Tenn., and Elizabeth Ann (Willis) Scott of Portland, Tenn.; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Leroy Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
