Glen Stapleton

GLEN STAPLETON, 80, of Wayne, W.Va. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.  He was born May 21, 1944, in Wayne, a son of the late Charles and Elva Stapleton.  His sister Eloise Moore also preceded him in death along with one son, Bernard Stapleton.  Glen was a member of New Vision Church of God in Buchanan, Georgia.

                Survivors include his loving wife, Violet Stapleton; four daughters, Arlene (William) Spence of Wayne, Beulah Smith of Alabama, Mary (Russell) Jones of Georgia, and Rose (Junior) Adams of Wayne; one son, Daniel Stapleton also of Wayne; one sister, Norma Burgess of Wayne; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to mention. 

                Private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
