Gregory Allen Adkins

GREGORY ALLEN ADKINS, 65, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  He was born August 29, 1957, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late John and Audrey Adkins.  He was a block layer and enjoyed the sermons from Wayne Baptist Church. 

            Survivors include his wife, Karen Adkins; five children, Christopher Adkins (Amanda) of Comfort, Minn., Kayla (Logan) Pack of Barboursville, W.Va., Dennis Adkins of Wayne, Corry Adkins of Huntington, W.Va., and Josie Breanna (Hayden) Spears of Lavalette, W.Va.; and 10 grandchildren, Cayden, Amaya, Lillian, Brentlee, Madilynn, Ryker, Corbyn, Rylan, Brendyn, and Aubree, and baby Eleanor on the way.

            Also surviving are nine siblings, Frances (Jim) Hall of Barboursville, Jerry Browning of Huntington, Linda Gayle Miller of Dawsonville, Ga., Marsha Siegle of Prichard, W.Va., Marla Kay Kennedy of Huntington, Janet (Ed) Blankenship of Wayne, Johnny (Susan) Adkins of Huntington, Kathy Bias of Barboursville, and Okie (Debbie) Adkins of Huntington; a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.  

            Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Ferguson officiating.  Burial will follow in Bowen Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m.
