HAROLD CURTIS HARVEY, 64, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Monday, March 2, 2026, at St. Mary’s Medical Center following a sudden illness. Born August 23, 1961, in Huntington, Harold graduated Wayne High School, Class of 1979, attended Marshall University, and was employed at American Express, Duke Energy, and CIT Technical Institute prior to his retirement. His father Curtis Harvey preceded him in death along with his grandparents, Gallie and Mary Watts Robertson and Benjamin and Lutie Copley Harvey.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Ethel Harvey (Abbie) Napier; three loving sisters and their families, Barbara (Harold) Wilson of Taylorsville, Ky., Bonnie (Jim) Arms of Proctorville, Oh., and Mary (Larry) Thomspon of Genoa, W.Va.; special nieces and nephews, Jackie (Selena) Adkins, MeLisa (John) Davenport, Christy Beckett, Beverly (John) Luther, Michael (Laura) Clary, Benjamin (Laken) Thompson, Deana (J.D.) Akers, and Jennifer (Michael) Smith; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Delano Davis and Brother Herman Dingess officiating. Private burial will take place at Community Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at noon.
