Homer Junior Richards

HOMER JUNIOR RICHARDS, 90, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, at home.  He was born June 23, 1934, in East Lynn, a son of the late Homer and Ida Merritt Richards.  Also preceding him in death were three brothers Donnie Merritt, Harry Merritt, and Bernard Merritt; and two sisters, Mary Lou Isaacs, and Minnie Levering.

              Survivors include his devoted wife, Cynthia Richards; one son, Gary Richards of East Lynn; one daughter Connie Richards of Huntington, W.Va.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, James Merritt; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

             Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Richards Family Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.
