IRA B. “R.B.” ADKINS, 90, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 8, 1931 in Stiltner, W.Va., a son of the late Parker and Chloe Adkins. Also preceding him in death were 15 brothers and sisters, Elmer, Golden, Noah, Parker, Maryetta, Charity, Cora, Dorothy, Izella, Martha, and infants Dewey, Leontie, Cleveland, Della, and Delmer. Ira lived in Armilda for over 60 years. He was a wonderful artist and loved to fish.
Survivors include his wife, Yantie Adkins; 57 nieces and nephews including special niece Freda Mae Stephens, whom he visited daily for over 50 years; over 100 great nieces and nephews; and many neighbors and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Wayne Nursing & Rehabilitation for all the care and love shown to him.
There will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
