Janell Martin

JANELL MARTIN, 78, of Barboursville, W.Va., passed from this world on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.  She was born July 2, 1947, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Cline and Evelyn Miller.  Her husband Larry Duncan also preceded her in death along with three sisters, Nancy (Tony) Honesto, Sharon (Junior) Wallace, and Margy Wallace; one brother Jack Miller; nieces Kathy Johnson and Paula Jayne Honesto; and nephew Joseph Honesto.  Janell retired from St. Mary’s Medical Center and a member of Farmdale Church of Christ.

Survivors include her children, Andy (Tina) Duncan of Indianapolis, Ind. and Paula Turman (Billy Williams) of Hazard, Ky., and grandchildren Blake Turman, Bo Turman.  

Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Susan Miller of Huntington; her brother-in-law Don Wallace, also of Huntington; as well as several dear nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
