Janet Yvonne Shahan

     JANET YVONNE SHAHAN, 98, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at her home. She was born November 3, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska, a daughter of Violet and Evald Henrickson.  Janet retired from St. Joseph Hospital, Orange, Cal. Where she was an RN for nearly 30 years.  Her husband Robert Shahan also preceded her in death along with two daughters, Laurel Shahan, and Linda Shahan, and one brother John Henrickson.

     Survivors include four children, Nancy Wall-Shahan of Colton, Ca., Kathleen L. Pollock of Highland, Ca., Virginia Leigh Fero of Riverside, Ca., and a son John Shahan of Wayne; grandchildren, Daniel Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Darcy Sims, Melissa Romero, James Wall, Ashley Wall, Johnathan Fero, and Breanna Mosley; along with numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

     Janet will be laid to rest beside her husband at Riverside National Cemetery, California.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
