JANICE LEE STACY, 82, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born October 19, 1942, in Wayne, a daughter of the late George and Ada Mae Finley Marshall. Her husband Benjamin Stacy also preceded her in death along with three brothers, Glen Marshall, Larry Marshall, and Delmas Marshall; and one sister, Mandy Davis. Janice was a member of the Genoa Church of God.
Survivors include one son, Shawn Stacy; very special grandson, Donte Stacy, both of Wayne; five sisters, Ernestine (Randy) Cooper, Linda Gail Robinson, Lola Beckleheimer, Retha (Jimmie) Johnson, and Darlene Luther; three brothers, Doug (Cathy) Marshall of Wayne, Eldon Marshall, and Duke (April) Marshall, both of Chesapeake, Oh.; special nieces Selina (Casey) Ferrell, Miranda Mills, and Lisa (Paul) Thompson, all of Wayne; special nephew Stevie Beckleheimer; special friends Donna Smith and Loretta (Bob) Robinson, all of Wayne; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention. The family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Mary’s Pulmonary Unit and IMCU for their care and support.
Per her request, she will be laid to rest with her husband in a private service at Community Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
